Clear communication, advanced safety protocols, and compassionate care — every step of the way.

Surgery can feel overwhelming — we understand. That’s why our team focuses on clear communication, advanced safety protocols, and compassionate care from start to finish. Whether your pet needs a routine procedure or something more complex, we’re here to guide you with confidence and empathy.

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing are always our highest priorities.

Our Surgical Philosophy

We believe great surgical outcomes come from:

You’ll always know what to expect, why we recommend a procedure, and how we’ll
keep your pet safe every step of the way.

Advanced Anesthesia Monitoring

For over 20 years, we’ve continuously invested in state-of-the-art surgical monitoring — upgrading our equipment multiple times to ensure the highest level of safety.

This level of monitoring allows us to respond quickly and keep your pet stable and comfortable throughout the procedure.

Radiowave Surgical Technology

For more than two decades, All Creatures Veterinary Clinic has used radio-wave surgical units to perform precise, low-temperature incisions that support safer, more comfortable surgical experiences.

Pain Management & PostOperative Comfort

Your pet’s comfort matters — before, during, and after surgery.

We use:

And we integrate therapeutic laser therapy to support healing.

Therapeutic Laser Support

We use two different therapeutic laser systems to support healing and comfort:

Class IV Companion Animal Health Therapy Laser
Provides deep tissue therapeutic support for mobility, wound healing, inflammation reduction, chronic pain, and lick granulomas.
Offers gentle, surface level therapy designed to support postoperative incision healing, reduce swelling, and assist with early stage soft tissue inflammation.

Together, these systems allow us to tailor treatment to each pet’s needs.

How Our Surgery is Different

What to Expect on Surgery Day

We take the time to listen — you know your pet best.
Before Your Pet’s Procedure

When your pet’s surgery or dentistry is scheduled, you’ll receive a text with two required forms. These forms allow you to customize your pet’s surgical experience, level of care, and costs. Please complete and return both forms within 48 hours.

Next, you’ll receive your pet’s customized estimate based on the choices you
selected. This estimate must be approved within 48 hours to hold your pet’s place on our schedule.

You’ll also receive a text confirming your pet’s appointment, admission time, and instructions for preparing your pet for surgery.

When you arrive, your pet will be admitted and taken to our Intermediate Care Ward for triage. You’ll receive a card explaining when to expect updates about recovery and discharge time.

You’ll receive a text message when your pet enters our recovery area. Once your pet is awake and stable, you’ll receive another text with:

This helps discharge go smoothly so you can focus entirely on your pet.

You’ll receive your pet’s discharge and home care instructions by email. Please review these instructions before arriving for pickup so our team can answer any questions you may have.

When you arrive, we’ll bring your pet to you in our lobby so you can take them home comfortably and safely.
