After practicing locally at Veterinary Associates and Animal Care Center, Dr. Streit founded All Creatures Veterinary Clinic with a simple mission: to offer compassionate, thoughtful, relationship‑centered care to pets and the people who love them.

Michelle believes every pet deserves a chance to thrive, especially those with unique medical needs.
As treatment area manager at All Creatures, she is passionate about surgery, dentistry, client education, and helping families care for pets with chronic illnesses or disabilities.
At home, Michelle’s love for special-needs pets is personal. She shares her home with 11 cats, one dog, and a snake, including Scooter, a paralyzed cat, and Vader, who is diabetic. Caring for them has strengthened her commitment to helping pet owners navigate complex medical conditions with confidence, compassion, and practical support.
Michelle is a strong advocate for preventive care and believes some of the biggest improvements in a pet’s quality of life come from the things that are often overlooked. She is particularly passionate about dental health and helping owners understand the important connection between oral health and overall wellness.
Outside the clinic, Michelle enjoys reading, crocheting, and sewing—hobbies that reflect the same patience, attention to detail, and love of learning that she brings to her work every day. Whether she’s helping a client understand a treatment plan, assisting in surgery, performing dental procedures, or caring for her own menagerie at home, her goal is always the same: helping animals live healthier, happier lives while ensuring their families feel informed and supported every step of the way.

I joined All Creatures in 2015 and have been Customer Service Representative in the veterinary field since 1995.
I can’t imagine doing anything else. I truly love what I do! I worked with Dr. Streit many years ago and always respected him. Here we are 30+ years later, and he is still the same doctor that I admire for his dedication towards the well-being of animals.
Many clients are like family to me, and my hope is that they know I sincerely care about the well-being of their furbaby”. Our pets are our family!
I live outside Athens with my husband, Brakley, our Golden Retriever, and Glacier (adopted from All Creatures) – yes, the 2-legged cat that was the clinic “princess”!. In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities, watching movies, following the Pittsburgh Steelers and Mountaineers, playing “Chuckit” with Barkley, and spoiling Glacier.
