After-Hours Emergency Care

When our clinic is closed, your pet’s safety is our priority. This page helps you quickly determine whether your pet needs immediate emergency care or whether their symptoms can safely wait until we reopen.

Life-Threatening Symptoms

If your pet is experiencing any symptoms that may be life‑threatening, such as:

trouble breathing
collapse or inability to stand
seizures
severe bleeding
being hit by a car
ingestion of a toxin
severe abdominal pain
signs of heatstroke
inability to urinate (especially male cats)

Urgent but Non-Life-Threatening Symptoms

If your pet has urgent symptoms that are concerning but not immediately life‑threatening, including:

mild vomiting or diarrhea
ear infections
eye redness or discharge
skin infections or hot spots
limping
mild lethargy
minor wounds
allergic reactions without breathing issues

these concerns can typically wait until we reopen.

Why We Don’t See After-Hours Emergencies

All Creatures Veterinary Clinic is a daytime practice with extended hours, and we are fully staffed only during our regular operating schedule. After closing, we do not have medical staff or overnight monitoring on site, and pets requiring emergency care must be cared for at a fully staffed emergency facility.
