Ultrasound

All Creatures Veterinary Clinic utilizes the latest tools when diagnosing a sick animal. One tool that is very useful is ultrasound. Ultrasound is a technology used very commonly in human medicine and more frequently in animal medicine.

Sound waves are sent out through a probe into soft tissue and on their return, they form a picture. Organ size and texture, tumor identification, pregnancy surveillance and even heart function can all be verified using ultrasound.

In conjunction with lab work, x-ray and physical examination using ultrasound can help our veterinarians diagnose and treat your animal companion quickly and efficiently.
